MEN’S DAY

Men’s Day at Shiloh is a traditional annual day wherein we celebrate the fact that throughout Scripture God called on men to lead His church.  The men of Shiloh invite men from other churches to actively participate in the Men’s Day worship serve by reading scripture, providing the invocation, and other integral components of the service. 

But Men’s Day is more than a one-day event.  It is the culmination of Shiloh’s annual Men’s Season in which the men plan and carry out a number of fellowship events that promote our wonderful church and provided vehicles through which the church can connect with the surrounding Bordentown community.

Each year the Men’s Day chairman suggests a theme that is reviewed and agreed upon by the Men’s Ministry.  For 2019, we have chosen Psalm 82 as the basis for our theme:

                                      “God is defender of the poor and needy.”

Psalm 82 is most appropriate at this time in our country as it speaks of the powerful who have little regard for the poor and needy but also that God will judge them accordingly.
